Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Answity, operated by Answity. By running a check or creating an account, you agree to them.

What Answity does

Answity asks AI assistants questions your customers ask, records what they answered, and reports it as a score with a list of fixes. That is a measurement service.

We do not promise that your visibility will improve. No tool in this category can, and any that claims otherwise is selling you something it does not control. AI assistants decide what to say using their own models and sources. Answity shows you where you stand and what is most likely to help; acting on it is your work, and the result is not guaranteed.

Results describe what an engine answered at the time of the scan, from the market we queried. The same prompt can return a different answer an hour later. That variance is a property of the systems being measured, not a defect in the measurement.

Accounts

• You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password safe.
• One account per organization. Agency plans include seats for your team.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Plans and billing

• The free check is free, with a limit on how often it can be run.
• Paid plans bill monthly or yearly in advance, and renew until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
• If something on our side clearly failed and you paid for it, write to us and we will make it right rather than argue about a refund policy.
• Prices can change with 30 days' notice to existing customers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• resell raw Answity output as a data feed or API without a written agreement;
• use the service to impersonate a business you do not represent;
• attempt to overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service;
• use it to build a directly competing tracker.

White-labelling is allowed and intended on the Agency plan: you may put your own brand on exported reports and present the work as your agency's.

Third-party engines

Answity is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, Microsoft, or any other assistant we measure. Their names are their trademarks and are used only to identify what was checked. If an engine changes access, pricing, or behaviour, coverage may change with it.

Availability

We aim to keep the service up and the scans on schedule, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Scans may be delayed by outages at the engines themselves, which are outside our control.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business.

Ending things

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Changes to these terms

We will email account holders before a material change takes effect and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and disputes go to the courts there.
